摘要: The advent of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) was an important milestone in the history orthopedic surgery. development TKA began early 1970s when tibiofemoral condylar replacements sprouted independently both United States and abroad (Fig. 1). Numerous surgeons engineers were involved this process it has now become a multibillion dollar industry with millions knees implanted world wide (1). joined hip as incredibly successful medical intervention (2–4).
