摘要: Abstract Sheng-Mai-San (SMS), a traditional Chinese multiherbal formula, is widely used in clinic for the treatment of myocardial ischemia (MI) China. Recently, it has been shown that change neurotransmitters central nervous system closely related to pathogenesis MI, whether SMS might affect at MI patients not studied yet. In this study, liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) method simultaneous determination two types (neuropeptides and monoaminergic neurotransmitters) rat brain tissue was developed. The instrument operated under multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode using electrospray ionization (ESI) positive ion mode. A good linear relationship with coefficients ≥0.99 achieved over concentration ranges 10–1000 ng mL −1 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) norepinephrine (NE); 2–250 ng mL methionine-enkephalin (M-ENK) leucine-enkephalin (L-ENK). Quantification limit 5-HT NE 4.0 ng mL ; 2.0 ng mL M-ENK L-ENK. intra- inter-day precision less than 15% accuracy within ±15%. analysis revealed significant reductions levels ( p
