摘要: Rapid (30-second) prescreening of cervicovaginal smears can be used to detect false-negative cases and determine the rate primary screening, but performance characteristics have not been evaluated fully. A test set 242 including 80 originally were rapidly screened by 4 different cytotechnologists on 2 occasions. Intraobserver interobserver reproducibility good. Median specificity for each round observations was 89% (range, 30%-96%). sensitivity all true-positive 78% 63%-97%); it 59% 38%-89%). The relative rapid screening varied with diagnosis. detected almost same percentage atypical squamous cells uncertain significance (ASCUS) as ASCUS (median ratio, 1.12; range, 0.72-1.52). median ratio significantly than low-grade plus high-grade intraepithelial lesions (0.68; 0.50-0.96). Although varies between individuals, in this population reproducibility, specificity, Because detects more at a lower cost per case routine rescreening, should considered an alternative current quality control measures.
