Titrimetric, spectrophotometric and polarographic determination of resorcinol, catechol and phloroglucinol

摘要: Simple titrimetric, spectrophotometric and polarographic methods are described for the determination of micro-amounts resorcinol, catechol phloroglucinol. These based on iodination above compounds in a buffered solution which resulting iodide, after removal excess iodine, is oxidised with bromine to give iodate, determined titrimetrically, spectrophotometrically or polarographically.
