摘要: Abstract An indirect kinetic method is proposed for the determination of adrenaline and noradrenaline. The based on iodination these compounds in a buffered solution (pH 5.5) where resulting iodide subsequently acts as catalyst reaction between cerium(IV) arsenic(III). system monitored spectrophotometrically at 375 nm (absorption maximum cerium (IV) ion) measured initial rate proportional to amount catecholamine present sample. ranges are 5–25 μg 3–30 noradrenaline, precision (RSD) about ±2%. has been satisfactorily applied catecholamines several pharmaceutical preparations.
