摘要: A titrimetric method for the determination of 0.1–10 mg catecholamines and related compounds as pure substances in their dosage forms was investigated found to offer improvements with regard ease, speed accuracy. The is based on bromine oxidation (adrenaline, noradrenaline, L-dopa, dopamine methyldopa) corresponding benzoquinones; (octopamine, tyramine tyrosine) undergo substitution dibromoaryl hypobromites. benzoquinones hypobromites oxidise iodide liberate stoicheiometric amounts iodine, which can be determined titrimetrically thiosulphate, using starch an indicator.
