摘要: Many studies have measured residential and travel preferences to address self-selection they often focused on the average or independent effect of built environment behavior. However, individuals' behavioral responses interventions may vary by their different tastes. Using 2011 data from Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area, this study examines influences neighborhood type, attitudes, interaction terms commute mode choice. The interactions between type attitudes no significant impact driving frequency whereas effects propensity for transit differ preference. Specifically, urban consonants (including those in LRT neighborhoods) highest commute, followed suburban dissonants, then consonants. Therefore, heterogeneous elements should be taken into account future research design land use transportation policies aiming shape travel.
