摘要: Molecular analysis of Francisella tularensis subsp. holarctica isolates from humans and animals revealed the presence two subgroups belonging to phylogenetic groups B.FTNF002-00 B.13 in Switzerland. This finding suggests a broader spread this group Europe than previously reported. Until recently, only strains Western European cluster (group B.FTNF002-00) had been isolated tularaemia cases The endemic are sensitive erythromycin, contrast newly detected that resistant antibiotic. All tested were susceptible ciprofloxacin, streptomycin, gentamicin, nalidixic acid chloramphenicol but showed reduced susceptibility tetracycline when growth medium supplemented with divalent cations. data show undetected westwards Europe, associated changes antibiotic resistance profile relevant treatment tularaemia.
