摘要: Francisella tularensis is a Gram-negative bacterium, the causative agent of zoonotic disease tularaemia. The bacterium has developed several extracellular and intracellular strategies to evade hosts’ innate adaptive immune responses. aims study were examine complement sensitivity wild attenuated F. ssp. holarctica strains in animal hosts distinct compare complement-evading ability different phylogeographic background, role factor H host–pathogen interactions. Complement assays carried out on various live vaccine strain (LVS) with sera highly sensitive house mouse (Mus musculus), moderately European brown hare (Lepus europaeus) relatively resistant cattle (Bos taurus). Specific binding regulator bacterial membrane proteins was examined by Western blot assays. All interacted system showed no significant differences their survivability. LVS serum killing mouse, but lysed cattle. Direct not detected.
