摘要: SUMMARY Human adipose tissue depots perform numerous diverse physiological functions, and are differentially linked to metabolic disease risk, yet only two major human adipocyte subtypes have been described, white “brown/brite/beige.” The diversity lineages of classes studied in mice using genetic methods that cannot be applied humans. Here we circumvent this problem by studying the fate single mesenchymal progenitor cells obtained from tissue. We report a minimum four can distinguished transcriptomic analysis, specialized for functionally distinct processes such as adipokine secretion thermogenesis. Evidence presence these adipocytes adult humans is evidenced differential expression key adipokines leptin adiponectin isolated mature adipocytes. most similar mouse “brite/beige” enriched mechanisms promote iron accumulation protect oxidative stress, derived progenitors express high levels cytokines IL1B, IL8, IL11 IL6 family cytokine LIF, low transcriptional repressors ID1 ID3. Our finding repertoire its developmental provides high-resolution framework analyze architecture role systemic metabolism disease.
