摘要: Abstract Aims. The goal of this study was to investigate the incidence occult metastasis in perivascular lymph node and nodal recurrence these pads squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) tongue floor mouth. Methods. We performed a prospective analysis an nodes 55 patients (41 with oral 14 mouth carcinoma) who underwent elective supraomohyoid neck dissection (SOHND) for SCC mouth, from 1997 2002. 99 SOHND procedures were as follows: 72 carcinomas 27 carcinomas. Result. Clinically occult, but pathologically positive occurred four two regional at level I three 45. Conclusions. This preliminary report reveals small lymph-node metastases infrequent area after early-staged SCC.
