摘要: Abstract Bone metastases remain a therapeutic challenge because of the diversity problems they cause, relative paucity data regarding their treatment, and necessity for management by multidisciplinary palliative care team. The American College Radiology convened an Appropriateness Criteria Expert Panel on Radiation Oncology treatment bone metastasis to create representative clinical case scenarios then rank appropriate use modalities as well most reasonable radiotherapy dose schema planning methods. Here we present both resulting rationale making these decisions. recommendations are placed within larger framework role radiation in discussing efficiency schedules, cost effectiveness issues, need additional research proper patients with symptomatic metastasis.
