摘要: The Pearl River Delta Economic Zone is one of the most developed regions in China. It has been undergoing a rapid urbanization since reformation and opening China 1978. This process plays significant impact on urban environment, particularly river water quality. main goal this present study to assess activities especially quality for area. Some Landsat TM images from 2000 were used map areas different pollution levels sections In addition, an improved equalized synthetic index method was utilized field analytical results. results indicate that there positive correlation between rapidity water. Compared rural water, polluted more seriously. During development process, had negative
