摘要: Introduction The indications of placement cerclage have recently changed, and so it is important to evaluate how many women are undergoing this procedure. With the recent completion clinical trials, plausible that obstetricians perinatologists may become more selective in terms best candidates for cerclage. Material methods We conducted a retrospective cohort study who underwent prevention preterm birth Division Maternal Fetal Medicine Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (Philadelphia, USA) over 16-year period, from 1998 2013. We included with singleton gestations had history-indicated (HIC) or ultrasound-indicated (UIC). Physical examination-indicated transabdominal were excluded. planned compare data before after 2005. Results From 2013, there 33 353 deliveries, which 16 871 occurred 2005 16 482 2006 Of all 328 (1.0%) received HIC UIC, therefore analysis. Between 1998–2005 2006–2013 significant decreases overall rate (1.4% 0.6%; p < 0.001), as well (0.8% 0.2%; p < 0.001) UIC (0.6% 0.3%; p < 0.001). Conclusions During last 16 years, at significantly declined 1.4% seen both UIC. The reason lower cerclages be published evidence.
