摘要: Cyclic voltammetric studies of m-nitrobenzene sulphonic acid on a thermally coated Ti/TiO2 electrode in solutions wide pH range from 5.0 M H2SO4 to 1.0 NaOH show pH-sensitive adsorption post-peak addition the peak potential region TiO2/TiOOH surface process. The post appears only between −0.43 (1.0 H2SO4) and 5.5. higher limit is close isoelectric point TiO2 reported literature. pH-dependent attributed an acid—base interaction protonated sulphonate anionic centre aromatic nitrocompound. Below −0.43, however, hydrogen evolution swamps post-peak.
