摘要: The study of heterozygosity-fitness correlations (HFCs) has a long history in the fields ecology and evolutionary biology but remains controversial. Recently, it been shown that genetic distance markers from functional loci can be an important factor to considered addition marker numbers variability. In this study, we investigated correlation between individual heterozygosity behaviour (aggression, boldness feeding activity) nine-spined stickleback (Pungitius pungitius) individuals originating four populations two contrasting environments. Offspring full-sib families raised common garden setting were assessed for genotyped using 84 microsatellite either located within or near behaviourally physiologically genes (termed ‘functional’) randomly selected. No associations detected with any behavioural trait population over all when variability was measured combined. However, separated into three categories (behavioural, physiological random), several significant observed both random one assessed. Interestingly, gene (negative) (positive) markers. Upon dividing further subcategories based on their specific functions, strong relationship linked osmoregulation-related genes, revealed brackish water population. Our results indicate local (physiological) general (neutral) effects are shaping heterozygosity–behaviour dependent.
