摘要: Colicins are toxic proteins with a narrow killing spectrum that produced by colicinogenic Escherichia coli strains. The aim of this study was to analyse systematically whether extra-intestinal virulence potential is linked colicin (in)sensitivity. In total, 102 well-characterized E. isolates from skin and soft-tissue infections (SSTIs) were exposed 17 single-colicin-producing strains, the correlation between insensitivity phylogenetic group as well SSTI strains examined. results showed belonging B2 statistically significantly associated at least ten colicins, several insensitivities correlated factors. As far known, first report such correlations.
