摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect a season cross-country training and racing on airway inflammation, cough symptoms, athlete quality life in female skiers. Eighteen elite skiers performed sputum induction completed Leicester Cough Questionnaire (LCQ) Recovery-Stress (REST-Q) at three time points (T1 - May/Jun, T2 Oct/Nov, T3 Jan-Mar) during year. No changes were observed between T1 T2. However, an increase eosinophils lymphocytes (P < 0.05) significant change all domains LCQ (P < 0.05). A association found total yearly hours cell count (r(2)  = 0.74; P = 0.006), number other counts T3. for any domain REST-Q. results demonstrate that inflammation symptoms are significantly increased across year racing. is related amount worse winter months when athletes cold, dry air.
