摘要: GHG emission reduction is one of the key environmental problems for sustainable development discussion in 21st century, because it closely related to energy use and bulk material flows. Concrete binding targets greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions Annex-1 countries are now agreed Kyoto protocol. Emissions European Union will be reduced by 8% period 2008-1012, compared reference year (1990/95). Further reductions required beyond this order arrive at stabilisation global concentrations acceptable levels as called UN Climate Convention. Western economies all likelihood face even much further reaching goals: efficiency improvements high a Factor 10 might eventually become longer term requirement.
