摘要: We review the academic literature on use of financial reporting information by capital providers. classify our findings investor type and objective. While most providers accounting information, survey indicates that they do so in a variety ways with competing other sources information. also find intermediaries are influential both credit equity markets, making identification typical target ‘user’ inherently difficult. Our main question underlying objective Conceptual Framework to guide development standards for general-purpose statements provide knowledgeable true fair view about entity. Finally, we identify gaps suggest areas where future research can help inform important policy debates.
