Colour Schlieren Method

摘要: A colour schlieren technique based on natural dispersion of light in a stratified medium grating serving as colour-separation element is described. To illustrate, two photographs turbulence mixture region are presented. One conventional photograph obtained by using the Foucault knife, and other monochrome print coloured image, allowing one to evaluate spatial distribution amplitudes internal waves along direction their rays.
