摘要: Various methods of establishing fluid media stably stratified in either temperature or the concentration a foreign constituent are compared. A method used to construct salt solution with precisely predetermined stratification is described. The Euler-Lagrange equations solved exactly for medium whose refractive index varies linearly one dimension; shows that schlieren system may be used. For non-linear one-dimensional variation index, modified shadowgraph technique employed. device quantitative evaluation outlined and an example its use given.
