摘要: We compute the mean patch occupancy for a stochastic, spatially explicit patch-occupancy metapopulation model on dynamic, correlated landscape, using mathematically exact perturbation expansion about mean-field limit that applies when dispersal range is large. Stochasticity in and landscape dynamics gives negative contributions to occupancy, former being more important at high latter low occupancy. Positive correlations always benefit metapopulation, but are only significant correlation length comparable to, or smaller than, range. Our analytical results allow us consider importance of spatial kernels all generality. find shape function typically unimportant, variance overwhelmingly most property colonisation kernel. However, short-range singularities either kernel can give rise qualitatively different behaviour.
