摘要: Questionnaires administered to 1822 members of the Framingham Heart Study from 1965 1967 provided measures personality type, sociocultural mobility, situational stress and somatic strain. Clusters questions selected by a panel experts, verified item factor analysis, formed scales Type A behavior other psychosocial states. The scale was significantly correlated with daily (.47), emotional lability (.43), tension (.42), anger symptoms (.34), ambitiousness (.31). Women were less likely than men be ambitious exhibit behavior, more emotionally labile, tense, suppress hostility. Few consistent associations found between levels blood pressure or cholesterol. Social status marital conflicts associated patterns smoking. pattern not related level CHD risk, as determined logistic equations.
