摘要: Objective: Angiogenesis is a key process in the promotion of cancer and its metastasis. Many natural health products inhibit angiogenesis. Because lack molecular studies on anti-tumor anti-angiogenic effects shallot (Allium ascalonicum); except few clinical other properties, such as anti-proliferative effect chloroformic extract two tumor cell lines, present study focuses aqueous using an aorta ring model. Materials Methods: Aortic rings were obtained by cross-sectioning, at 1-2 mm intervals, thoracic 4-8 weeks old Wistar male rats cultured them thin drop type I collagen gel. After 3 days culturing first sprouting, A. ascalonicum (from 25 to 800 μg/ml) was added cultures. The results activity investigated microscope. cytotoxicity different doses HUVECs measured trypan blue assay. Results: showed that has suitable range 50 μg/ml, but no considerable effect. In addition, tangible cytotoxic endothelial cells above mentioned observed. Conclusion: Our bulbs noticeable without toxic ranged from 50-800 μg/ ml. Therefore, can be potential candidate for further investigations used angiogenesis-related pathologic conditions.
