摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW Allergic diseases represent a growing global health concern, especially among pediatric populations. Current strategies for the treatment of allergies and asthma focus on limiting severity symptoms; however, additional research investigating mechanisms promoting inflammation in context allergic reactions may lead to development more effective therapeutic strategies. RECENT FINDINGS Novel studies have highlighted contributions innate lymphocytes induction inflammatory responses allergens. Remarkably, neuron-derived signals, hormones, even vitamins been suggested modulate activity lymphocytes, opening new windows opportunity inflammation. SUMMARY These highlight complex interactions nervous, endocrine, immune system that promote pathology Further are required understand these order aid novel much-needed therapies treat conditions.
