摘要: This work presents a Web Service Middleware infrastructure for Ambient Intelligence environments, named aWESoME. aWESoME is vital part of the Smart IHU project, large-scale University deployment. The purpose proposed middleware within project twofold: one, to ensure universal, homogeneous access system's functions and secondly, fulfill functional non-functional requirements system. Namely, itself should consume significantly low power (as it meant energy savings in addition automations), without compromising reliability fast response time. enable direct discovery, invocation execution services. Finally, on hardware level, wireless sensor actuator network be optimally configured speed as well. solution employs widely used web open standards description discovery expose software interoperability, even outside borders this university It proposes straightforward method integrate low-cost resource-constrained heterogeneous devices found market placement servers networks. Different server installations have been evaluated find optimum trade-off between time consumption. range client applications that exploit different platforms are demonstrated, prove its usability effectiveness enabling, scenario, monitoring savings.
