摘要: Abstract In the absence of sufficient coverage metering data on electricity consumption individual devices, this paper estimates contribution appliances to overall household consumption, drawing most recent wave German Residential Energy Consumption Survey (GRECS). Moving beyond standard focus estimating mean effects, we combine conditional demand approach with quantile regression methods capture heterogeneity in rates appliances. Our results indicate substantial differences these rates, as well end-use shares across households originating from opposite tails distribution. This outcome highlights added value applying electric and indicates some scope for realizing conservation potentials.
