摘要: Patients with asthma may develop acute symptoms after exposure to domestic or laboratory animal allergens; however, they are usually not aware of a direct relationship between their attacks and pollen dust mite allergens. The present experiments were designed study whether the differences in could be explained by number size particles carrying airborne Airborne collected filter on stages cascade impactor, allergens measured use inhibition radioimmunoassays. In rat rooms during disturbance litter, large proportion urinary allergen (45.9%) was second stage impactor (mean approximately 7 microns diameter). When sampled 15 35 minutes disturbance, 16% these medium-sized still airborne. By contrast, house dust, significantly larger mite, antigen P1 (80.6 +/- 11.8%; p less than 0.001) first keeping apparent (diameter greater 10 microns), very little this (less 4%) when disturbance. With nebulized diluted urine, 75% fourth final expected size, 0.5 3 diameter. These results demonstrate that natural both is strikingly different from conditions used for bronchial provocation.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
