摘要: Abstract Unique assembled sphere-like WO 3 architectures were successfully synthesized through a facile hydrothermal method in the presence of malic acid followed by subsequent heat treatment. We found that played significant role governing morphologies · x H 2 O precursors during process. A possible formation mechanism was also proposed detail. Experimental results showed optimized precursor could be dehydrated to mixed composition hexagonal and monoclinic with unique porous architecture after being annealed at 400 °C for 2.5 h. Besides, gas-sensing measurement indicated well-defined 3D exhibited highest sensor response ethanol optimal temperature 250 °C among samples.
