摘要: Background  Chronically photodamaged skin usually presents with multiple, widespread, actinic keratoses (AKs), and treatment of the entire affected area is recommended. Methods  We report our experience a combination Jessner’s solution or 70% glycolic acid (GA) 5% 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) for superficial pulse peeling used in widespread AKs 31 patients. Pulse peelings were performed at biweekly intervals. The endpoint was complete maximum clearance lesions clinical evaluation. Pre- post-skin biopsy histopathologic examination three patients purpose demonstrating peel effects. Results  All achieved satisfactory result, including regression, least 80% clearing, AK an overall improvement skin. Conclusion  consider this 5-FU to be safe, well-tolerated, very effective, highly inexpensive therapeutic option diffuse AKs. Its benefit/cost ratio will interest public health services, mainly developing countries.
