摘要: SUMMARY One thousand and forty people aged 40 years over, 616 (59.2%) of whom had solar keratoses, were followed for 12 months. Two hundred twenty-four (36.4%) a spontaneous remission at least one their keratoses. A total 485 lesions (25.9%) underwent out the 1873 that present first examination these 224 people. There was no significant difference between number initial in those who compared with did not. 21.8% increase keratoses 1040 studied 12-month period, due to new forming same time as remissions occurring. The incidence rate squamous cell carcinoma occurring 0.24% each keratosis original examination. With substantial proportion remitting spontaneously, plus low malignant transformation potential metastasis occur from arising keratosis, rationale treating all appears questionable.
