摘要: Abstract The effect of velocity upon the advancing and receding contact angles water, glycerol, formamide methylene iodide on glass coated with a dimethyl siloxane layer has been investigated. cosines dynamic water glycerol vary linearly interfacial velocity, as predicted by hydrodynamic theory. However, this treatment cannot account for magnitudes effects observed glycerol. Qualitative molecular considerations explain certain features dependence angles. Initial rapid relaxation occurs removal drive because reorientation liquid molecules at solid interface. There are further slow changes time penetration changing solid-liquid tensions. No their greater effective molar volumes former relax to common value about 90° which is considered be equilibrium value.
