摘要: A simplified method of manufacturing a silicone elastomeric foam comprises mechanically generating stable froth an aqueous emulsion, while adding surfactant and thickener, then exposing the to microwave energy remove water. The emulsion consists essentially anionically stabilized hydroxyl endblocked polydiorganosiloxane, colloidal silica, organic tin compound, water, having pH in range 9 11.5 inclusive. dried is elastomeric, cellular structure possessing typical elastomer heat stability long-term aging stability.
