摘要: We described the cDNA cloning of two antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), cecropin (BdCec), and attacin C (BdAttC), from oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel), a serious insect pest trees. Using rapid amplification ends, fragments encompassing entire open reading frames BdCec BdAttC were cloned sequenced. The complete 425 bp encodes protein 64 amino acids with predicted molecular weight 6.84 kDa. 931 239 residues 24.97 Real-time quantitative RT-PCR demonstrated that developmental transcription profiles similar in each larvae, pupae, adults. constitutive expression levels both AMPs high first-instar late third-instar suggesting their activity is active newly hatched larvae just before pupation. basal not significant different adult fat bodies. was upregulated after bacterial challenge ratio inducible to lower males compared females.
