摘要: Background: Recent data suggest that variations in calcium intake may influence lipid metabolism and body composition. Objective: The association between daily composition plasma lipoprotein-lipid concentrations was studied cross-sectionally adults from phase 2 of the Quebec Family Study. Design: Adults aged 20‐65 y (235 men, 235 women) were studied. Subjects who consumed vitamin or mineral supplements excluded. divided into 3 groups on basis their intake: A ( 1000 mg). Results: Daily negatively correlated with LDL cholesterol, total total:HDL cholesterol women men after adjustment for fat mass waist circumference (P < 0.05). In women, a significantly greater ratio to HDL 0.05) observed group than C correction circumference. weight, percentage fat, mass, index, circumference, abdominal adipose tissue area measured by computed tomography B C, even adjustments confounding variables. Comparable trends but not same covariates. Conclusion: low is associated adiposity, particularly women. both sexes, high profile predictive lower risk coronary heart disease compared intake.
