摘要: Gold nanorods (Au NRs) present unique optical and electronic properties that depend on their morphology. Their applications in sensing therapeutics require easy synthesis with precise control over dimensions. Here, we report a method for the of highly pure monodisperse Au NRs fine-tuneable dimensions longitudinal localised surface plasmon resonance by addition Hofmeister salts into growth medium. The NR formation relies double interaction between salt–gold salt–surfactant (cetyl trimethylammonium bromide, CTAB). With (i.e. NaNO3, NaBr, NaCl NaHSO4) can fine-tune aspect ratio range 3.3 to 4.8 precision 0.1 absorption band from 777 960 nm. In addition, have studied physical changes CTAB micelles induced using rheology, electron microscopy light-scattering techniques.
