Regulation of psbA and psaE Expression by Light Quality in Synechocystis Species PCC 6803. A Redox Control Mechanism

摘要: We investigated the influence of light different wavelengths on expression psbA gene, which encodes D1 protein photosystem II and psaE subunit Psa-E I, in Synechocystis sp PCC 6803. In an attempt to differentiate between a light-sensory redox-sensory signaling processes, effect orange, blue, far-red was studied wild-type phycobilisome-less mutant. Transferring cells from one type illumination another induced changes redox state electron transport chain expression. Blue lights (which are preferentially absorbed by I) accumulation transcripts decrease mRNA level. contrast, orange is II) large mutant blue (or vice versa) had no either or levels mRNAs. Thus, quality seems regulate these genes via sensory mechanism 6803 cells.
