摘要: In order to evaluate the potential genetic resources of wild relatives crop plants, allozyme variation at 28 loci was determined for Israel populations Hordeum spontaneum, progenitor cultivated barley. Etectrophoretic properties these and their variants are described. The enzyme exhibited a great range polymorphism, from one fifteen alleles per locus being detected. average probability that two gametes drawn randomly this collection would differ genetically 0.19. evidence indicates natural species represent very rich reserves variability. extent differentiation between each compared with shown by in spikelet morphology. diversity apportioned into 17% regions, 32% within 51% populations. contrast, occurred predominantly This indicated is highly differentiated phenotype presumably involved differentiation. These results support field sampling evaluation strategies which stress more sites expense reducing numbers site.
