摘要: BACKGROUND Significant developments have occurred in the field of percutaneous interventions for structural heart disease over last decade. The introduction several innovations has expanded significantly spectrum therapeutic applications interventional cardiology. However, translation most recent scientific evidence into clinical practice and adoption new technologies may be susceptible to large variability, even within same geographic area. This study aimed at describing current status changing trends 6 Regions Italy. METHODS Between July 2015 October 2015, regional delegations Italian Society Interventional Cardiology (SICI-GISE) promoted a web-based multicenter survey concerning interventions. An ad hoc questionnaire was administered head physicians cath-labs 4 Northern Italy (Tuscany, Lombardy, Veneto Emilia-Romagna) 2 Southern (Puglia Campania). Also, this we considered previous data from similar that involved Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna between April 2014 May 2014. Data two surveys were compared, observing 2015. RESULTS completed more than thirds (68%) 145 eligible cath-labs. According survey, application availability devices wide homogeneous involved. main factors perceived as limiting execution resulted economic (e.g. cost procedures devices) or organizational limited diffusion hybrid operating rooms). CONCLUSIONS In study, which based on results conducted Regions, widely growing throughout investigated indications treatment relatively regions involved, well factors, appear mainly economic-organizational.
