摘要: In this study, 71 species of edible medicinal plants belonging to 49 families were identified. These (beside therapeutic applications in Sowa Rigpa medicine) are used as food, fruit and vegetables Bhutan. Five Himalayan further studied for their phenolic content antioxidant activity. Hypecoum leptocarpum Hook. f. & Thompson contained maximum content. The activities determined by DRSA FRAP assays from water methanol extracts. Overall, among five investigated, Lepisorus contortus (Christ) Ching, H. Podophyllum hexandrum Royle gave good yield phenolics best This study demonstrates that could be a potential source natural antioxidants can boost the immune system.
