摘要: Maternal nutrition is directly related to the growth and development of fetus. However, epidemiological studies have demonstrated consequences poor maternal on diseases in later life, such as obesity, cardiovascular associated with a high incidence myocardial infarction, insulin resistance, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemias. On basis these observations, Barker formulated hypothesis fetal origin diseases, which proposes that fetuses exposed limited supply nutrients adapt this situation by altering their metabolic processes. Fetal programming can therefore be defined an adaptive process adverse intrauterine environment redefines developmental processes, guaranteeing survival.
