摘要: Abstract 1. Microperfusion experiments with isolated digestive cells of Hydra oligactis indicate ideal osmotic behavior above 90 mOsmole. Calculated non-osmotic volume is 4·6 ± 0·3 per cent the cell in culture medium. 2. At concentrations below mOsmole, volumes were smaller than those calculated by extrapolation from range. Isotonicity occurs at about 31 mOsmole sucrose, although measured concentration medium 7·5 3. Hypotonic regulation apparently generation hypotonic media a transmembrane hydrostatic pressure which reaches one-half atmosphere strongly solutions.
