摘要: ABSTRACTThe shear strength of furfurylated, N-methylol melamine (NMM) and thermally modified wood bonded with emulsion polymer isocyanate, polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), polyurethane (PU) adhesives was examined. Furfurylation NMM modification Scots pine had a significant negative effect on the bonding all irrespective treatment intensity. The obtained low-shear values were related to brittle nature after modifications rather failure bondline. PVAc showed better performance both furfurylated while combination PU gave highest reduction in (47–51%). Shear also decreased significantly thermal (36–56%) beech (34–48%) adhesives.
