摘要: The effects of hydroxymethylated resorcinol (HMR) on the tensile shear strength wood joints treated with montan ester wax were studied polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) and melamine formaldehyde (MF) adhesives. Untreated specimens which bonded MF PVAc had similar bond properties under dry conditions, but specimens’ values higher than that glued wet conditions. With both adhesives tested, strengths wax-treated in a comparable range to those untreated wood, while conditions significantly lower controls.
