摘要: Over the past 15 years, downy mildew became most destructive foliar disease in cultivated Impatiens species (Balsaminaceae) worldwide. A previous study had revealed that causal agent was not Plasmopara obducens (Oomycota, Peronosporales) but destructor on walleriana, and velutina balsamina. This hints to a relatively high degree of specialization Balsaminaceae. Therefore, it aim present perform multigene phylogenetic analysis detailed morphological investigation for several Korean samples parasitic I. balsamina, also northeast Asian wild plant, textori. It textori harbors new species, which is introduced described here as elegantissima.
