摘要: Wetting behaviors of plasma sprayed Fe, Ni, Cr and their mixture coatings were investigated. The contact angle water droplets on the surfaces increases with time when are exposed to air, highest value greater than 150°. To best our knowledge, this is first report that superhydrophobicity can be achieved by one step spraying. It found feedstock particle size distribution has a significant influence coating morphology. For coating, micro/submicro dual scale roughness obtained. carbon content in surface increasing time. Results X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscope analysis heat treatment CO2/Ar atmospheres suggest may contain some active ferrites which decompose dioxide into carbon. origin attributed accumulation materials roughness.
