摘要: Summary form only, substantially as follows. Congress, recognizing the degradation of this unique ecosystem, passed Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Act. The act requires Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to develop a comprehensive management plan with implementing regulations govern overall sanctuary protect resources qualities for enjoyment present future generations. also establishes boundary sanctuary, prohibits any oil drilling exploration within operation tank ships greater than 50 meters in "Area Be Avoided", development implementation water quality protection program by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency State Florida, conjunction NOAA. author describes coastal marine area detail.
