摘要: The diabetic vasculopathy is one of the major complications responsible for high incidence arteriopathy, coronary ischemia and renal failure. Several hypothesis have been formulated to explain vascular abnormalities. We recently showed that advanced glycation end products (AGE) a pivotal role in genesis dysfunction. AGE bind receptor (RAGE) present on endothelial cells. binding RAGE produced an oxidant stress diminished barrier function, increased permeability, enhanced expression cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1). VCAM-1 CD b 8 monocytes may facilitate monocyte emigration can represent initial steps alteration. In animals or ApoE null mice which developed atherosclerosis, infusion recombinant prepared insect cells was studied. Recombinant administration corrected hyperpermeability prevented development atherosclerosis animals.
