摘要: The efficiency of using satellite information (satellite imagery, measurements from radiometers and altimeters) for tracing the dynamics various characteristics Aral Sea during its desiccation is demonstrated. Interannual variability morphometric parameters sea parts considered (1957–2008), as well that surface temperature (SST) (1982–2000), level (1992–2006), dates first last observations ice cover (1992–2005), amount atmospheric precipitation over catchment areas (1979–2001), normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) (1981–2001). Seasonal changes in landscape a former bottom have been analyzed mapped. Examples manifestation processes water (coastal upwelling, vortices, wind surges, etc.) atmosphere (dust/salt storms) on images are presented.
